Author: Ohio natives Hawthorne Heights broke onto the music scene in 2004 with their platinum hit, The Silence in Black and White . The single from that album, Ohio is for Lovers, was an emo anthem played nonstop on networks like MTV and VH1. Their next album, If Only You Were Lonely , was even more of a hit, soaring to No. 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and reaching gold status.
