Real whole wheat bread is good for you as it is a wonderful source of fiber. I say real, because you need to read the ingredients. Many times bread will be sold as "Wheat" yet it contains enriched flour as its first ingredient.
Now as to your friends weight loss, if all she was eating was tomatoes and whole wheat bread she was consuming about 100 or so calories with no fat for each meal. Sure, fast weight loss but guaranteed to put your body into starvation mode. Won't take her long to put those 10 pounds back on and then some. Not a smart way to lose weight.

I am not familiar with this bread machine brand, however if you have manual, you can use that
whole wheat meal bread will need a bit of extra grease, as the gluten content will be more -Also the cooking time / baking time will have to be more

Are you out of your mind, the guinea pig is already having trouble with digestion so lets throw in something knew that most likely has milk in it so it can really get sick.

Take it to a vet.

If you do not have the money to do that at lease pull all veggies and fruits and give it 24 hour a day hay with it's pellets to see if it gets any better.

The best of luck to the guinea pig.

You might want to sneak in one of your 5-a-day veggies in there. Limit the portion of the ham which can be high in salt and fat.

Sure, why not. If you have a good diet going, peanut butter and jelly won't be a problem. Plus peanut butter is full of protein, good cholesterol, and amino acids! If you exercise a pbandj will not be a big issue.

It all comes down to making sure your butter is soft, if your in a rush put your butter in a microwave dish to slightly melt the butter, then layer it on. If you want a really melty sandwich try using two pieces of cheese if you want to treat yourself once in awhile. Let the sandwich stand for a minute so that the cheese stays in place when you tear it apart.
I wish you success.........this one is my favorite.

You should talk to your doctor or the dietician that put you on that diet . It varies with different diets.

Whole wheat flour does not have as long a shelf life as white flour. It has more oil in it so it can go rancid, especially if you store it where it is quite hot. If your flour is quite old, try replacing it and see if that helps.
